Safe and carefully coordinated transportation from our cattery to your family

Lynx Rune Code is located in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. We work with families from Romania, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries.

For international destinations, we help arrange professional transportation according to the veterinary, customs and airline requirements of the destination country.

Depending on the route, transportation may be organized by road, by air cargo, with a flight nanny, or through a combination of air and ground delivery.

Every journey is planned individually.

Transporting a kitten internationally is very different from sending an ordinary parcel.

Airlines and veterinary authorities have specific requirements concerning:

- the kitten’s age;

- microchip identification;

- vaccinations;

- veterinary examinations;

- health certificates;

- export documentation;

- import permits;

- customs clearance;

- transportation crate dimensions;

- airline reservations;

- transit airports;

- temperature restrictions;

- airport collection procedures.

Working with an experienced animal transportation company helps us coordinate these requirements correctly and select a suitable route for each kitten.

The goal is to make the process as clear, organized and comfortable as possible for the kitten and the new owner.

We confirm the destination

You provide:

- your country;

- state, region or province;

- city;

- preferred international airport;

- postal code;

- approximate preferred arrival period.

We then check which transportation options may be available for your destination.

A final route can only be confirmed after checking airline schedules, cargo availability, veterinary requirements and the kitten’s readiness to travel.

A written agreement is prepared

Before the principal payment, the buyer receives a written agreement describing:

- the selected kitten;

- the kitten’s identification details when available;

- the purchase conditions;

- the documents included;

- the health guarantee;

- the transportation arrangements known at that stage;

- the responsibilities of the breeder and buyer;

- the estimated departure period.

The buyer has the opportunity to read the agreement and ask questions before proceeding.

The kitten is prepared for travel

Before departure, the kitten receives the veterinary preparation required for its age and destination.

Depending on the destination, this may include:

- microchip identification;

- age-appropriate vaccinations;

- rabies vaccination;

- internal and external parasite treatment;

- veterinary examination;

- veterinary passport;

- health certificate;

- additional export or import documents.

Requirements vary between countries and may change. We therefore confirm the applicable conditions for each individual journey.

For travel within the European Union and for destinations outside the European Union, different veterinary and customs documents may be required.

The transportation route is booked

Once the kitten is ready and the necessary documents can be issued, the route is coordinated with the transportation company.

The route may include:

- collection from Chișinău;

- ground transportation to Bucharest or another departure airport;

- veterinary or customs procedures;

- international air cargo transportation;

- transit through an international airport;

- customs clearance at destination;

- collection by the new owner;

- collection by a licensed customs broker;

- onward ground transportation where available.

Flight schedules, airlines, connections and transit airports are selected according to availability and the rules applicable at the time of booking.

 The transportation crate is prepared

Before departure, the buyer receives the available transportation information, which may include:

- departure date;

- departure airport;

- airline;

- flight number;

- transit airport;

- estimated arrival time;

- airway bill or cargo reference;

- destination cargo terminal;

- customs broker information;

- instructions for collection;

- documents required from the buyer.

Some information is issued only after the airline confirms the booking.

The kitten departs

The kitten is transferred to the transportation company or airline only after the required veterinary preparation and documentation have been completed.

Where possible, we provide the buyer with photographs or a short update before departure.

The kitten travels under the airline’s live-animal transportation procedures rather than as an ordinary parcel.

Customs clearance and collection

After collection, we ask the owner to let us know that the kitten has arrived safely.

We remain available to support the family during the kitten’s initial adaptation period.

A long journey, a new home, new smells and unfamiliar people can be stressful. The kitten should therefore be given a quiet room, fresh water, familiar food, a clean litter tray and sufficient time to rest.

WHAT LYNX RUNE CODE PREPARES

Depending on the kitten’s age, destination and agreement, the kitten may travel with:

- official pedigree;

- veterinary passport;

- microchip;

- age-appropriate vaccinations;

- rabies vaccination when required;

- parasite treatments;

- veterinary health examination;

- health certificate when required;

- purchase agreement;

- genetic health guarantee;

- transportation documents;

- feeding and adaptation recommendations.

The exact document package is confirmed in the individual agreement.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Lynx Rune Code is responsible for:

- providing accurate information about the kitten;

- preparing the purchase agreement;

- preparing the kitten according to the agreed veterinary plan;

- obtaining the documents that fall under the breeder’s responsibility;

- coordinating the handover to the transportation company;

- providing the buyer with the available travel details;

- remaining in contact during the delivery process;

- providing breeder support after arrival.

THE TRANSPORTATION COMPANY’S RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on the selected service, the transportation company may be responsible for:

- route planning;

- airline cargo reservations;

- preparation of transportation documentation;

- preparation of export and customs documentation;

- provision or preparation of the transportation crate;

- ground transportation to the departure airport;

- communication with airlines;

- coordination with destination agents;

- provision of airway bill and cargo information.

The precise responsibilities of the transportation company are determined by the individual route and transportation order.

THE BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITIES

The buyer is responsible for:

- providing accurate personal and destination information;

- checking the import requirements applicable in the destination country;

- providing requested identification documents;

- obtaining any permit assigned to the importer;

- appointing a customs broker when required;

- paying destination charges not expressly included in the offer;

- arriving at the cargo terminal or agreed collection point on time;

- following customs and airline collection instructions;

- informing us when the kitten has been collected;

- arranging appropriate transportation from the airport to the home.

We help explain the process, but the buyer must cooperate promptly when documents or information are requested.
