Written Agreement & Kitten Protection

At Lynx Rune Code, every kitten placement is supported by a written agreement.

A Maine Coon kitten is not a simple purchase. It is a living family member, and the agreement helps keep the process clear, respectful and responsible for both sides.

Our written agreement explains the important details of the kitten’s placement, including reservation terms, kitten identification, pedigree documentation, veterinary preparation, payment terms, delivery arrangements, buyer responsibilities and long-term breeder support.

The purpose of the agreement is not to make the process complicated. Its purpose is to protect the kitten, the future family and the breeder by keeping expectations clear before the kitten leaves our home.

Each Lynx Rune Code kitten goes home with official pedigree documentation, a European veterinary passport, microchip identification, age-appropriate vaccinations, a veterinary health check and breeder guidance for the transition period.

Before any reservation decision, future families may ask questions, request document information, receive recent photos or videos and arrange a video call when possible.

What Our Agreement May Include

Kitten identification

Name, date of birth, sex, color, microchip information and parent details.

Placement category

Companion placement, show potential discussion or breeding rights when approved separately.

Reservation terms

Reservation amount, payment schedule, cancellation terms and expected timeline.

Veterinary preparation

Vaccinations, European veterinary passport, microchip, health check and parasite prevention when applicable.

Pedigree documentation

Information about registration, pedigree records and document transfer.

Buyer responsibilities

Safe indoor living, proper nutrition, veterinary care, responsible handling and long-term commitment.

Breeding rights

Breeding rights are not automatic and are available only to approved registered catteries with responsible breeding programs.

Delivery arrangements

Transport route, timing, responsibility and costs are discussed individually depending on destination.

Breeder support

Lynx Rune Code remains available for guidance after the kitten arrives home.
